How to Add a PreFix Shortcut to Your Mobile Home Screen

Many of our PreFix members have asked for a mobile app to make accessing HomeHub more convenient. While we're working on that, here's a simple way to create a shortcut on your home screen that links directly to the PreFix web app. This works for both Android and iOS devices.

For Android Users:

  1. Open Your Browser:
    • Open Chrome or your preferred browser on your Android device.
    • Navigate to the PreFix HomeHub website.
  2. Access the Menu:
    • Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser.
  3. Add to Home Screen:
    • Select "Add to Home screen" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Confirm:
    • You may be prompted to customize the name of the shortcut. You can leave it as "PreFix" or rename it if you prefer.
    • Tap "Add" to place the icon on your home screen.
  5. Find the Icon:
    • The PreFix shortcut will now appear on your home screen. Tap it anytime to quickly access HomeHub.

For iOS Users:

  1. Open Safari:
    • Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
    • Navigate to the PreFix HomeHub website and request your magic link to login
    • Click link in your email to login to PreFix in Safari browser
  2. Access the Share Menu:
    • Tap the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Add to Home Screen:
    • Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen."
  4. Confirm:
    • You can customize the name of the shortcut or leave it as "PreFix."
    • Tap "Add" in the top right corner.
  5. Find the Icon:
    • The PreFix shortcut will now appear on your home screen. Tap it anytime to quickly access HomeHub.

  1. Submit Service Requests with Photos:
    • Easily submit service requests by uploading photos directly from your phone.
    • This helps our team understand and address your needs more efficiently.
  2. Quickly Add To-Do's with Photos:
    • Add and manage your to-do lists on the go.
    • Attach photos to your to-do items to provide visual reminders or additional details.
  3. Share Your Referral Code:
    • Share your referral code with friends and family directly from HomeHub.
    • Help them enjoy the benefits of PreFix while you earn rewards.
